We want you to feel comfortable buying an Exam Pass Kit. The policy below covers refund eligibility, how to request one, and how long it takes. If anything here doesn't fit your situation, email us — we read every message and we'd rather make it right than argue about the fine print.
1. The short version
- 7-day refund window from the time of purchase.
- Up to 25 answered practice questions across the purchased Exam Pass Kit. Beyond that, you've used the product, and we can't take it back.
- Both conditions must be true for a guaranteed refund (within window and at or under the question cap).
- No "store credit" trickery — eligible refunds go back to the original payment method.
2. Why the two limits exist
AmericasMarket is a digital product you can binge in a single afternoon. The 7-day clock keeps things simple. The 25-question cap stops a small number of users from speed-running the whole Exam Pass Kit, walking into PSI with the material in their head, and then chargebacking. 25 questions is more than enough to see the question style, the UX, the explanations, and the cheat sheets — it's a real evaluation, not a sliver.
3. What's eligible
- Single Exam Pass Kit purchases ($99 per classification).
- The Smartest Pick — All Licenses bundle ($499). The question cap is counted across the whole bundle, not per-classification.
4. What's not eligible
- Purchases older than 7 days at the time you submit the request.
- Accounts that have answered more than 25 practice questions across the purchased Exam Pass Kit.
- Accounts terminated for cause (e.g., account sharing, scraping, abuse) under our Terms of Service.
- Refund requests for the wrong reason — for example, "I didn't pass the real CSLB exam". Passing depends on factors we can't control (your study habits, your prior experience, the version of the exam you get on the day). We sell study material, not a guaranteed pass.
5. How to request a refund

- Tell us:
- What you bought (single Exam Pass Kit, classification, or the bundle).
- Approximate purchase date.
- One or two sentences on what didn't work — it genuinely helps us improve.
- We'll verify against our records (purchase date and answered-question count) and respond within 2 business days, usually sooner.
6. How refunds are processed
- Refunds are issued by Stripe to your original payment method. We don't issue refunds to a different card or by check.
- Once approved, Stripe typically returns the funds in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- When a refund is issued, access to the refunded Exam Pass Kit (and any bundle entitlements it granted) is revoked.
- We don't refund payment processing fees that Stripe keeps on certain international transactions, but those are usually zero for our pricing.
7. Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can almost always solve the issue faster than a chargeback case, and we share your transaction history with Stripe to contest disputes opened in bad faith. Filing a chargeback after consuming the product is grounds for permanent account termination under our Terms of Service, with no further refund obligation on our part.
8. Edge cases
- Bought twice by accident. Email us — we'll refund the duplicate regardless of the question cap.
- Bought the wrong classification. Email us within the 7-day window. If you're at or under the question cap, we'll refund and you can rebuy the right one. Or just buy the Smartest Pick — All Licenses bundle and we'll credit what you already paid against it.
- Outage prevented you from studying. Email us. We'll either extend your access window or refund, your choice.
- Something else. Email us. Really. We're a small team and we'd rather hear about it than miss the chance to fix it.
